Obituary for Lois Mimnall

Lois M. Mimnall, 87, of Wrightsville, died on Monday, January 29, 2018 at Susquehanna Valley Nursing and Rehab Center. She was the wife of the late Edward W. Mimnall. Born in Columbia on August 3, 1930, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Graham) Knisley.

Lois was a clerk at Hinkle’s Pharmacy in Columbia. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by a daughter, Nanette C. Young and her husband, Eugene of Wrightsville, son, Edward W. Mimnall, Jr. and his wife, Gail of Mt. Wolf; six grandchildren, Bert Young, Buffy Richardson, Dusty Pennell, Edward Mimnall, III, Chris Ostrowski and Missy Chrismer; nine great grandchildren, Nick, Cameron, Garrett, Kayden, Dylon, Gavin, Caity, Rosie and Quinton; two brothers, Stewart Knisley and his wife Sue, of York and Lonney Knisley and his wife, Louella of York and a sister, Mary Ellen Smith of York. She was preceded in death by three brothers, David, Glenn and Bill Knisley and a sister, Phyllis Miller.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 700 Hellam Street, Wrightsville. A viewing will be held Friday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, PO Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101.
