Thomas S. Vicidomine, 92, died on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at his residence.
Thomas was born in Brooklyn, New York on July 15, 1924, son of the late Tony and Maria (Magawillow) Vicidomine.
He retired from Barnes and Noble on Fifth Avenue in New York after 25 years of service. From 1968 to 1996 he was the owner of Eagle’s Nest Painting Restoration Shop in Marietta. He was an avid painter and enjoyed going to the Opera in New York.
Thomas raised his nephew and niece, Patrick Pinto of York and Nanette Schauren and her husband, Jim of Wrightsville. He is also survived by a great nephew, Matthew Schauren and numerous other nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Mount Zion Cemetery, 3101 Deininger Road, York, with the Rev. Forrest S. “Bud” Bish officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 9:45 a.m.
